Weathering Systems
Carecil’s Florida Weathering and Testing Facility, located in Homestead, Florida, is an outdoor weathering laboratory dedicated to the evaluation and performance testing of paints, coatings, materials, and components under natural environmental conditions.
When research involves product or material samples or complex components, Carecil’s experienced technical team provides comprehensive weathering, testing, evaluation, and technical consulting services. In addition to exposure testing using internationally standardized test fixtures, the facility supports a wide range of sample evaluations, including color, gloss, DOI (Distinctness of Image) measurements, and detailed visual inspections.
The facility supports testing in accordance with applicable ASTM and other internationally recognized weathering test methods and standards. Carecil’s technical team works closely with customers to evaluate coating performance, durability, appearance retention, and resistance to environmental exposure.
